Heated Socks by HeatMax are designed with the dedicated outdoorsman in mind. The main feature of the Heated Socks by HeatMax is the elastic band that surrounds the top and bottom of the toe area. The Foot Warm-Up inserts are the only warmers recommended for use with the Heated Socks by HeatMax. Use of any other warmer may result in excessively high temperatures that could result in burns or non-effective low temperatures

These are a one time use. you have to purchase heat packets from the manufacturer after you use the first one included.

I bought these as I own horses and ride through the winter. They work fine as far as the warmth aspect, but the amount of fabric caused bunching and soreness at the seams. Rather than such a large and overlapping pocket, I might have just sewn a patch pocket where the chemical heat could slide in. If you don’t need to do much movement, or your shoes are big enough to accommodate the seams, they are great!
