Whacks Wax is special because of an additive; the unique powder that gives the wax its color is a substance called Molybdenum. It is used as an additive by some other ski wax companies in their highest-end waxes, which can cost up to 50 cents per gram. The powder eliminates friction and heat, allowing for the smoothest ride. I’ve used several waxes over the years. While applying Whacks I was like what am I doing to my board….black messy junk everywhere. Major scrapping pain to remove, twice as long to smooth it out, but HOLY COW is this stuff the bomb. Slick as snot when I hit the Spring snow last weekend. I’ll probably not have to wax for a couple weeks with this stuff. BAM!

There is a little magic in this stuff. Fast. The wax is so slick that I found I could do 360s on the snow with ease because there was no friction on the base- worth stocking up on, once you get this on your board(s) you’re going to want to wax every week.
